Mileage reimbursement rate for October 1, 2008 through December 31, 2008 is 49 cents per mile. The mileage rate for out-of-state fugitive returns increases to 54 cents per mile.

County Fees Systems Branch
The County Fees System Branch provides disbursement, fiscal, personnel, payroll, training, and other essential administrative support services to state agencies, cities and counties .

Acts as the fiscal officer for the county clerk and county sheriff in counties with population over 70,000

Processes personnel actions and payroll for the clerk and sheriff in counties with population over 70,000

Processes operating expense claims for the clerk and sheriff in counties with population over 70,000

Receives and disburses state monies to state and local agencies

Receives and disburses assessed court costs to state and local agencies

Reimburses circuit clerks for the jury fund and witness fund
-
Advances to sheriffs requested funds to aid the operation of their office
-
Reimburses sheriffs for court security time, felony arrests, summoning witness, summoning jurors and attending jury
-
Reimburses sheriffs and jail facilities for transporting prisoners

Processes indigent program claims |
