County Sheriff Fee Claim Forms Now Online (March 9, 2005)
Fee Claim Forms for Kentucky Sheriffs are now available on the County Fee Systems Web page. Access and complete the series of fee claim forms (AC-33 through AC-40) online.
Mileage reimbursement rate for July 1, 2008 through September 30, 2008 is 49 cents per mile. The mileage rate for out-of-state fugitive returns has been changed to 48 cents per mile.

Division of Local Government Services
The Division of Local Government Services provides financial, payroll, personnel, administrative and social security coverage services to Kentucky's state and local governments. The Division also directs the federal employment tax reporting program for state government agencies.
The Division oversees Kentucky’s social security coverage program, county fees systems, payrolls for the county clerk/sheriff in counties with population over 70,000 and payrolls for the property valuation administrators. Division staff serve as the Commonwealth's social security administrator, fiscal officer for the county clerk/sheriff in counties with population over 70,000 and personnel/payroll officer for the property valuation administrators.
The Division receives and disburses in excess of 600 million dollars each year. Personnel actions and payrolls for approximately 3,000 local government employees are processed by Division staff each calendar year. The Division returns over 125 million dollars to Kentucky's local governments and local officials each fiscal year.
The Division is administratively located in the Office of the Controller, a department of the Finance and Administration Cabinet. The Office of the Controller combines the statewide and local government financial activities of the Cabinet to recognize efficiencies in serving the Office’s constituents in the most effective manner possible.
